After a disappointing first half the Steelers come storming back for a amazing comeback. The score was 13-3 Falcons after the first half which ended in a wild blocked punt by the Steelers fullback Roosevlet Nix. The Falcons received the football for the start of the second half and failed to do anything with the football for the rest of the game. Jordan Dangerfield and Mike Hilton are players that should not be overlooked. Jordan Dangerfield caught 2 critical interceptions and Mike Hilton forced a crucial incomplete pass that almost was ruled a safety. Mike Hilton’s forced throw brought a 4th and 12 situation. The Falcons punted and Trey Willams, who had returned a punt for a touchdown early in the game, returned the punt for 6-yards to the Steelers 47. On that drive James Conner made amazing runs to put the Steelers at the Falcons 1-yard line at 3rd and goal. A delay of game penalty pushed the Steelers back to the 6. That didn’t stop the Steelers. Bart Housten, the Quarterback of the fourth quarter for the Steelers, threw to Wide Receiver Justin Hunter for a 6-yard touchdown. Matt Sims, the Quarterback for part of fourth quarter for the Falcons, was sacked by Defensive Tackle Roy Philon forcing a 2nd and 19. Matt Sims passed out of the situation for 9 yards, but was sacked again this time by Linebacker Farrington Huguenin forcing a 4th and 16. After the Falcons punted the Steelers had the ball on their own 48. Later in the drive the Steelers were forced to punt, giving the Falcons the ball on their own 10. This time a new Quarterback came to receive the snaps. With Quarterback Alex Torgersen under center, the drive didn’t last long. The 3-play drive end in a interception by Jordan Dangerfield, his second of the game. On 4th and 2 on the Falcons 9, the play after the 2-minute warning, Bart Housten tried to air it out to Justin Hunter but was intercepted by Akeem King, giving the Falcons the ball at their own 20. The Falcons got a first down on the drive, but were later driven to a 4th and 10. On 4th and 10 the Falcons committed a false start making it 4th and 15. Cornerback Brandon Dixon made the deciding play by diving for the horribly placed ball, blocking the pass. With the ball the Steelers kneeled the clock out giving them the victory. Go Steelers.
