Najee Harris destroyed the Red Wolves’ defense, racking up 135-yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries. Harris scored Alabama’s last touchdown of the game. Also, Jalen Hurts threw 2 touchdowns and lead the drive where Najee Harris scored, Tua Tagovailoa threw 4 touchdowns, and once again, Jerry Jeudy caught 2 touchdowns again. Most of what Alabama did in this game was the same as what they did in last game. 1, Tua Tagovailoa played great, 2, Mac Jones threw 1 pass that was incomplete, 3, Alabama scored a pick-six. The only main difference was that Jalen Hurts got the ball moving when he was at quarterback.
Alabama’s defense played great most of the time. However, the main problem, and maybe the only problem, with the Tide’s defense is that they dropped 3 interceptions, 1 might even been a pick-six.
The special teams was a mess. Nick Saban switched kickers after Austin Jones, the kicker who was benched, missed back-to-back extra points. To add to the special teams misery, punter Skyler Delong longest punt in all of the 4 punts went for only 39-yards.
All I have to say is, if Alabama ends up giving Jalen Hurts equal playing time and Hurts decides to stay, then they will have the best group of quarterbacks in college football team history.
