Matt Murray Out Indefinitely For Penguins.

The Pittsburgh Penguins star Goalie Matt Murray suffered a concussion in practice and Olli Maatta took a shot that hit Murray on the head and Murray did not return. Mike Sullivan says that “Both Casey and Tristian are very good Goalies.” Casey DeSmith and Tristian Jarry are the 2 backup Goaltenders for the Penguins. Both of them have played well for the Penguins when Murray takes breaks, got injured early in the year, and when he missed games because his father died in January. Matt Murray is a 2-time Stanley Cup champion in only 2 seasons in the NHL. This year is his third year. If the Penguins win the Stanley Cup he will have a three-peat (3 in a row Cups) in his only 3 seasons. The Penguins lost today to the Devils 3-2 (Casey DeSmith played Goalie).
