Considered ranking: Appalaichian State, Auburn

  1. I understand that LSU lost. However Texas A&M lost twice. Also, Army, Texas Tech and Mississippi State have lost twice this year. LSU beat two big teams in the span of only three weeks. They still have the best resume in the country. Number 17 is way too low for a team that is 5-1, took down Miami 33-17, and upset Auburn on the road. You ranked Army thirteenth, and they have a 3-2 record. You ranked the 4-2 Texas A&M higher than LSU because they beat Kentucky in overtime and performed decently well in their LOSSES to Alabama and Clemson. As for Mississippi State, they beat Auburn. LSU also did. Miss St. has two losses and has not played nearly as hard teams as LSU. Also, Washington, on your rankings, is ranked higher than LSU. However, Washington’s only loss came in week 1 to Auburn, who LSU beat in Auburn. LSU is a very good team. The Swamp is a very hard place to play especially when the crowd is all fired up about Tim Tebow. LSU deserves to at least be ranked at number 12 or 13.

    1. Texas A&M lost by 2-points to Clemson. LSU could never do that with the kind of coaching they have this year. So you can be quite about Texas A&M. As for Army, Army is higher on the rankings because they handed Hawaii their only loss so far, Hawaii was #8 at the time. Plus the fact that Army could beat LSU any day as long as they’re led by Joe Burrow, who fumbles on every other drive. Mississippi State beat LSU 37-7 last year and they might even be a little bit better this year. I guess we see when they play each other. Currently, you haven’t even published your rankings, so get to work on your own stuff and stay outta mine. Texas Tech blew out Oklahoma State, Oklahoma State was #6 at the time, and one of their losses was to the overly powerful West Virginia who is led by Will Grier, a good quarterback and an amazing leader, Joe Burrow isn’t either of those things. Texas Tech lost by 8-points to West Virginia and LSU lost by the same amount to Florida, a team that West Virginia could easily defeat. Washington is higher than LSU because they’ve played better this season. I think I covered every team you mocked. If I didn’t, reply and remind my to refute you again.

      1. Washington plays better than LSU? They only lost to Aubrun 21-16 when LSU beat Auburn 22-21. Auburn was the only ranked opponent that Washington has played all year. Arizona State is not that great this season. Washington beat them 27-20. Also, Washington just beat the winless UCLA 31-24. How more unimpressive can you get? If LSU and Washington are both 5-1, how is Washington better when they have not played hard opponents other than Auburn, who they lost to and LSU beat?

        1. Washington beat BYU 35-7, BYU was #16 at the time. I rank teams on power and based on who I think they could beat. Unlike you, I don’t go out of my way to defend LSU. I ranked them lower because they’ve played very sloppily throughout the year.

          1. They played sloppy. If they played sloppy when they beat Miami and Auburn away from home, I hope they continue this sloppiness when they play Alabama. Also, you rank team on power and who you think they can beat? I agree with that. Washington, however, is NOT as powerful as the Bayou Bengals. LSU opened the season with a 33-17 win against Miami, Washington lost to Auburn. LSU and Washington both blew out their opponents in week 2. In week 3, LSU upset Auburn, the team that Washington lost to, in the Tiger Bowl in Auburn’s stadium, while Washington got take on Utah. In week 5, Washington BYU 35-7, but the Tigers of LSU smashed SEC West rival Ole Miss 45-16. LSU could beat Washington. UCLA almost beat Washington, and LSU would run over UCLA by at least 30.

          2. You better hope that that sloppyness doesn’t continue. LSU lost to Florida because they played like they were confused. Also, I ranked Washington higher than LSU because if they played each other I’d definitely predict that Washington would win.

      2. Army is 3-2!!! I bet if LSU were 4-2 you would have them lower than 20. LSU could and would beat Army. Additionally, Hawaii should not have been ranked in the the top 10 to begin with.

        1. I don’t rank teams based on who I like better unlike you. I rank teams because I think that they are worthy to hold the spot I put them in. It was a huge upset to me when Army beat Hawaii and I respect teams that prove me wrong. LSU played horribly against Southeastern, only winning 31-0. They don’t have a good offense. Their defense is slowly falling apart. To me, Army is coming together as a team and I respect them for that. They destroyed Buffalo, who was ranked #22 at the time, and lost to Oklahoma in overtime. While Oklahoma is ranked lower now, at the time that Army played them, the Sooners were on fire.

      3. When LSU lost to Miss St. last season, the Bulldogs were a strong team that only lost to Alabama by 3 points. They were playing in Mississippi State. LSU has a much better offense this season and Mississippi State is not as good as last year.

        1. How many times do I need to tell that LSU has a horrible offense? Mississippi State at least has a decent offense. The only way LSU would win that game is if their defense came together again led by that overpaid defense coach. That might actually happen. However, the offense has no hope.

      4. You say that Texas Tech is better than LSU because they lost West Virginia by eight points, while LSU lost to Florida by eight. You also say that West Virginia could easily beat Florida. I would like to see that. Put West Virginia in the place of LSU. Their playing in Florida with crowd all fired up. No way they would win. West Virginia just beat Kansas 38-22. Kansas lost to Nicholls State in week 1.

        1. Nicholls State is a decent team, unlike the team the LSU struggled with in week 2. West Virginia could beat Florida anytime, anywhere, even in front of a Florida crowd that had a million screaming people.

      5. Joe Burrow is a very competent quarterback and team leader. He led LSU to two upsets of top 10 opponents. Alabama has not even played a top 20 opponent yet. Georgia has not played a ranked opponent yet.

JEAUX BURREAUX will be the reason that the LSU Tigers beat Georgia.

        1. He didn’t lead them, the defense did. As for Alabama, I wouldn’t draw them into a conversation that you’re already losing.

          1. Yes he did lead them. He is the leader. LSU’s defense is good but that does not change the fact that BURREAUX is the leader.

    1. They are not falling apart. They held Miami to 17, shut out Southeastern, had a huge stop that helped them win the game against TOP 10 RANKED AUBURN. They had bad moments against LA Tech, but in the end, the defense came together had big plays. LSU’s defense should not be criticized. Alabama just allowed 31 points to Arkansas, who is now 1-5 after that game.

      1. I didn’t say anything about the lousy Alabama defense. They make up for their bad plays by scoring touchdowns. Sometimes, I think that all the Alabama Cornerbacks should be switched to Wide Receivers. Plus, LSU’s defense played well against Auburn, but I still think that since then, they haven’t been playing has well. Not well enough to have the highest paid defensive coordinator in the nation.

  2. LSU is a very good team. They will prove it when they beat Georgia this weekend led by the great
    JEAUX BURREAUX.

  3. One last thing. If we had some sort of power rankings for coolest mascot, it would not even be close.

    GEAUX TIGERS!!!!

  4. LSU beat Georgia 36-16. The Tigers outplayed the Bulldogs in every aspect of the game. Also, Washington, who you are under the impression could beat LSU, lost to Oregon.
