The New Jersey Devils have traded forward Brian Boyle to the Nashville Predators in exchange for a second round draft pick. Boyle, 34, signed with the Devils on July 1, 2017 as an unrestricted free agent. Boyle made the NHL’s All-Star Game roster last season representing New Jersey. He also one the Bill Masteron Memorial Trophy last year. In addition to the Devils, Boyle has played for the LA Kings, New York Rangers, Tampa Bay Lightning, and the Toronto Maple Leafs. With the Rangers, he won the 2014 Eastern Conference Finals before the losing in the Stanley Cup Finals to his former team, the Kings. Boyle is an excellent addition with a lot of postseason experience for the Nashville Predators, who are currently in second place in the Central Division and are looking to make another deep run in this year’s Stanley Cup Playoffs.
