NFL Cornerback Jalen Ramsey is starting his NHL training after saying that he could make the NHL if he trained for 6 months. I’m not saying that he will make the NHL, but at least he got a good trainer. His trainer is Paul Bissonnette. Bissonnette hockey career started in 2003 and ended in 2017. While Bissonnette’s stats aren’t amazing, here two reasons why he’s a good trainer for Ramsey.
1. He’s played hockey within the last 3 years.
It’s not like he’s training with Gretzky or Messier, who haven’t played hockey in while, at least not competitive hockey. Bissonnette still has had hockey training recently and can probably still skate well. Ramsey doesn’t even know how to skate.
2. He’s retired.
Because Bissonnette’s retired, he has time to work with Ramsey. When the NFL season is over, Jalen Ramsey could focus on hockey a little bit more. If Paul Bissonnette were still on a team, he would still be playing in the regular season while Ramsey has time to focus on hockey.
Will Ramsey make the NHL in six months? I doubt it. As I said earlier, he doesn’t even know how to skate. Still, crazier things have probably happen. Then again, if Ramsey makes the NHL, that might be the craziest thing ever.
