Alabama vs Arkansas Game Preview And Prediction.

Alabama comes into this game with a 5-0 record. The main problem with Alabama is their kicking and punting. Alabama Kicker Joseph Bullovas missed both his field goals last game, one from only 24-yards out. As for the punting game, Punter Skyler Delong’s usual punt only goes for about 30 to 35-yards. Alabama’s last punter, J.K. Scott, usually kicked a 50-yard punt or better. However, not everybody is as good as J.K. Scott, and one thing’s for sure, Skyler Delong isn’t. It’s hard to believe that a coach like Nick Saban couldn’t get good players to play kicker and punter this year, however, that’s what happened and, maybe by some rare chance, they might end up playing well by the end of the season.

I’ve said enough about the kicker and punter. Let’s talk about the offense.

Alabama has the best receiving group in the nation. They might even have the best receiving group ever. Jaylen Waddle, Henry Ruggs III, and Jerry Jeudy have all had at least 1 game where they caught 2 touchdowns. Of course, that’s also thanks to Alabama’s three quarterbacks, Tua Tagovailoa, Jalen Hurts, and Mac Jones.

Now let’s talk about the defense.

In every game so far, Alabama has forced a turnover. In this game they even blocked a punt. The Tide did allow ULL to score 14-points, but that was with their backups on the field.

Now for my report on Arkansas.

Arkansas is going into this match with the terrible record of 1-4. Arkansas is lucky I don’t really follow them that much, because I criticize the 5-0 Alabama, just think abou what I could say about Arkansas. Anyway, I’ll say all that I know about them.

Let’s talk about Arkansas’ offense.

In week 1, Arkansas got their only victory so far against Eastern Illinois 55-20. Despite scoring 55-points, their best runner only ran for 28-yards on 10 carries and scored once. Arkansas’ entire run game ended the game with 80-yards and 2 touchdowns on 37 carries. Arkansas Quarterback Ty Storey threw for 3 touchdowns and ran for 1. Over the rest of the season, he has thrown 1 touchdown and 4 interceptions. He also never got another rushing touchdown. Their next 4 games were loses.

Week 2: 27-34 loss to Colorado State.

This game was the complete opposite. Arkansas’ passing game was horrible and the running game was the reason why Arkansas came close.

Week 3: 17-44 loss to North Texas.

What an embarrassment. In this game, Ty Storey didn’t even play, however, the other Arkansas quarterback, Cole Kelly, was very noticeable. Kelly threw 4 interceptions and no touchdowns. The other 2 Arkansas quarterbacks each threw an interception and no touchdowns, one of the interceptions was a pick-six.

Week 4: 3-34 loss to Auburn.

In this game Ty Storey was the only quarterback who played for Arkansas. He threw an interception and that’s about all he did. The run game didn’t get much of anywhere.

Week 5: 17-24 loss to Texas A&M

This game was slightly more respectable than the last two. Ty Storey played quarterback for this game and threw a touchdown for the first time since week 1. He also threw another interception. As for the running game, they barely got anywhere and only managed to score 1 touchdown.

You may have noticed that I didn’t talk about the receivers for Arkansas. The problem was that the quarterbacks played so horribly that it was impossible for the receivers to standout.

Now for the defense.

The defense allowed 20-points against Eastern Illinois in week 1, so that kind of gives you an idea to how bad they are. In the game against North Texas, they only forced one turnover, which was a fumble. If they want to beat Alabama, they’re going to need to do better than that. Louisiana Tech beat North Texas 29-27 last week. If Louisiana Tech can hold North Texas down to 27-points and win the game, then you would think that Arkansas would destroy North Texas. However, that wasn’t the case. North Texas blew out Arkansas. Arkansas shouldn’t even be in the SEC. The SEC is supposed to be one of the best conferences in college football. With teams like Ole Miss and Arkansas in the SEC, people may start thinking otherwise about whether the SEC is one of the best conferences or not.

Here are the predictions from the other Sports Debate Analysts.

42-17 Alabama and 59-10 Alabama.

Here is my prediction.

56-3 Alabama.
