Alabama Beats Kentucky 77-75 in First SEC Game.

Alabama opens their SEC schedule with a win over #13 Kentucky. Kentucky lost by missing a three-pointer as time expired.

Notes about the game.

I. Alabama lost previous 10 meetings against Kentucky.

II. Tevin Mack scored 22-points and made 6 three-pointers.

III. Alabama made 10-23 three-pointers while Kentucky only 5-18.

IV. Alabama and Kentucky kept swapping leads and the game remained close until Alabama broke away with an 11-point lead late in the game.

V. Kentucky came back to make the it a 1-point game, fouled John Petty (Petty made 1 of the 2 free throws), and Tyler Herro missed a three-pointer to end the game.

Alabama’s next game is against LSU on Tuesday. Alabama’s next game against a ranked team is against #3 Tennessee in two weeks.
