Now for the explanation. I’ll start off with the Steelers and Bills trade. The Steelers could use a player like Nick Bosa and another second round pick. As for the Bills, they get the Steelers first round pick, a very early third round pick and DT Javon Hargrave.
Hargrave had 6.5 sacks last season.

Now let’s look at the Jets and Jaguars trade. It’s easy to see why the Jaguars would do it, since they’ll get four draft picks and a roster player, but why would the Jets do it. Since the Jets signed RB Le’Veon Bell, it’s natural that he would be the start of their rebuild, meaning that they need to focus their draft around him. They need linemen and tight ends, guys to block for Bell. That doesn’t mean to neglect defense and the other positions. It just means that if the Jets need to trade for somebody it should be for someone to help Bell.

Finally, let’s look at the Giants and Falcons trade. Both teams win here. The Giants could use a good wide receiver and the Falcons need a player like Ed Oliver.

In the end, Arizona got Kyler Murray, the Steelers got Nick Bosa, the Broncos got a QB, the Giants got a WR, and the Patriots got a TE.

Write in the comments if there’s a team that you would like to see a full 7-round mock draft of (based on this mock draft).
